I am unable to add furniture to my linden home and unable to abandon land to get a new home what can do

Sounds very much like you are NOT in your house. As the Linden homes all look pretty much the same, it's easy to get confused. 

To be sure to go in your house, go to your dashboard > Land Manager > my mainland. It's where the SLurl to your house is. Clicking on it will TP you directly to it. You should then be able to add furniture or abadon it if you wish to choose another one. 

If you are SURE this is your house, you'll have to contact Live chat at their opening hours and see with them what the problem is.

Are you sure you are in Your Linden Home?

Check as follows:

Your Dashboard / Land Manager / My Mainland - https://secondlife.com/my/account/land.php?lang=en-US

There you will see your hone's exact coordinates as a linkable SLURL

Click on it and then allow the webpage to set your Session TP point and you will be transported to your Linden Home parcel.

Verify that it is still yours and then stand in the center of it to request a World / Parcel / Abandon Parcel

If you no longer have a mainland link then you have already abandoned the parcel successfully and can request another one.
