RL Mardi Gras is experiencing a cold.. rainy party this year.. but here in SL, the weather is PERFECT!

It's always a good time at The Rio, but when Mardi Gras rolls around, we turn up the fun-o-meter and let all the beads and the wild ones loose! (Yes, even the Tangos!)

So... what can you expect at the 2nd Annual Mardi Gras Bash at The Rio?

An full day of events, starting with a never ending PARADE of FLOATS where you can ride around and wave to people on our two sims... toss beads.. flash passers by... and that's just the start! The evening festivities starting at 6pm with music, frollic and ... well... we aren't sure when it's all going to end! hehe

We have amazing venues to visit, such as Casanova's Theater and Lounge, where you can pick from over 50 movies to watch... ALL FOR FREE!

Hungry? Stop by Betina's Cafe or Burrito Bell's drive thru for a quick pick me up!

Looking for something more.. Tropical? Visit our Authentic Hawaiian Luau area, where you can try your hand at fishing.. or on upcoming events, catch an actual Luau performed by RL Hawaiians!

WHAT?! You have nothing to wear?! Well, stop by Reasonable Desires and pick up something you can dance in as you run around our own version of Bourbon Street (well, actually we temporarily rename Chippendale Drive and Casanova Boulevard just for this occasion)

And.. when you are ready to get really wild.. and I mean REALLY WILD... stop by The Rio! Grab a Hurricane.. or two.. or three.. maybe .. a dozen, and let it all hang out.. but.. all we ask is that when you strip.. you do it slowly.. and EMOTE IT! We wanna' see how well you do! hehe
