Inventory Lost.. My whole Work folder for my shop has just vanished. & i havent delete it..

I logged on the other day. and thought it mite of just been SL playin with my inventory,  i have cleared cache and all kinds and it hasnt come back.has been a week now ansd is the only folder that is missing.. and i was wondering if there is anyway i was able to get it back as it has all my work stuff for the last 3 n half yrs in there....  Pleaseee help... Thank you...

How many items were in the folder? The inventory service fetches folders one at a time and if there is a very large amount of items (over around 10,000) in a single folder the transfer can get timed out so none of the items in that folder will appear. If that's the case all you can do is to manually clear your inventory cache,  try to connect on the fastest, most reliable connection you can and hope the folder contents can make it. Then break that folder into smaller folders to try to keep the problem from happening again.
