Only "There was a problem charging your payment method." when attempting to buy L$ with PayPal.

I have been attempting for several days to buy L$ using my PayPal account, but I get only the incredibly useless error message of:

"There was a problem charging your payment method."

There's no indication of any kind of what might actually be causing the failure in processing the payment.

For each attempt, the Account History shows two records for each buy attempt:

- Customer Payment - Declined

- LindeX Currency Buy - Failed

Can someone please help me with this?

In PayPal, my bank account is confirmed, etc. etc.

Any idea why I'm getting this error and how I can get past it?

Best course of action is to contact Billing Support. Details of how to are here https://support.secondlife.com/billing-support/

Billing Support is open 24/7 and they should be able to help you sort this out.

Edit: Use Skype to save costs if no free phone in your country and you have to call the tolled line.
