Jasmin Helstein
Hello everyone,For a few weeks now I'm seeing stripes on water, vertically and horizontally, and they flicker when I move the camera. I've never seen this before. It shows like this with all windlightsettings, setting water refections to minimal takes away just some of the stripes and the only way I have found to get rid of them completely is taking the transparency out of the water.I do know ATI and SL is not always a good combination I hope there is no problem with that but here is my system info.CPU: AMD A8-3850 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (2899.97 MHz)Memory: 8190 MBOS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit Service Pack 1 (Build 7601)Graphics Card Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc.Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6900 SeriesWindows Graphics Driver Version: 8.17.0010.1191OpenGL Version: 4.2.12217 Compatibility Profile Context 12.104.0.0RestrainedLove API: (disabled)libcurl Version: libcurl/7.21.1 OpenSSL/1.0.0d zlib/1.2.5 c-ares/1.7.1J2C Decoder Version: KDU v7.1Audio Driver Version: FMOD version 3.750000Qt Webkit Version: 4.7.1 (version number hard-coded)Voice Server Version: Vivox 2.1.3010.6270Settings mode: HybridViewer Skin: Metaharper Modern (AppalachianSky)Font Used: Deja Vu (96)Draw distance: 256Bandwidth: 3000LOD factor: 4Render quality: Ultra (7/7)Built with MSVC version 1600Packets Lost: 178/128,790 (0.1%) Does anyone have a sugestion to what may be causing this or better ... what I can do about it ?ThanksJasmin Helstein ETA: I just found out it seems a Fire Storm thing, Singluarity and the official viewer don't show the stripes. I didn't see them before and I didn't update anything recently so I do hope it is one of the settings.
Jasmin Helstein
Found it ...\o/ In the photo tools I had the quality of water reflections set at life-like without the Advanced Lighting Model enabled. Enabling that or reducing the quality takes away the stripes.
