Dressing my avatar

How come when I dress my avatar and wear mesh half of my body is missing? What am I doing wrong? Will someone please help me...Thank you

Mesh clothing etc. uses alpha masks to hide parts of the body that would otherwise protrude through the mesh. It can look odd indeed if poking your camera under mesh skirts and so on as most of your body may have disappeared. If you mean the alpha mask is acting strangely and making half your body disappear even though it's not meant to be, then I've only come across one other recent instance of this and I don't think the cause was found. I'll see if I can find the thread.
