On The ROCKs where music is served fresh daily. Pick your poison 7 days a week with a different genre each day! Reservations not needed for our Rock Ballad Sundays.. formal attire is welcome! Maybe some Pop on your rocks for Mondays! Good ole Classic Rock served up on Tuesdays! Not your "Cry In Your Beer" Country on Wednesdays! Thursdays rock steady with 80's Hair Bands! How does Metal Madness Fridays sound? Thirsty yet? Well come on down.. Saturdays are freshly brewed from the 90's thru today ... ROCK ON!!!!

Our goal is to provide a "shot" of everybody's favorite music. Each day  will have a drink special that represents that day's music sounds, so people know what they'll be getting, and on what day. We'll have a "menu board" that scrolls thru the daily menu of "specials" .. the DJ (aka bartender) and host will be behind the bar (which will be in the middle of the dance floor) while "serving up the tunes", and the contests will be appropriately named "Happy Hour Specials" \o/

This is currently the lineup (as in the ONLY music genre that will be played on these days):

SUNDAYS            - ROMANTIC ROCK &  METAL BALLADS
MONDAYS            - POP MUSIC (will include dance, and hip-hip also if the DJ desires)
TUESDAYS          - CLASSIC ROCK
WEDNESDAYS   - COUNTRY (will also include Blues & Southern rock if the DJ desires)
THURSDAY         - 80's HAIR BANDS (not 80's as in Cyndi Lauper, Milli, Vanilli, Flock of Seagulls, etc!! LOL)
FRIDAYS               - METAL (ALL GENRES EXCEPT 80's HAIR METAL)
SATURDAY          - NEWER ROCK (90's thru today)

In addition to DJs & Hosts, we are also in need of "Day Managers" if anybody is interested. This is just a small and quick synopsis of what might be involved with and our expectations.

So, as a "Day Manager" you'd be responsible for your own "crew" .. anybody scheduled on your day would go to you for scheduling issues, call ins, needing to find a cover, you'd be responsible for making sure your hosts send out notices on time and post their set on the SL website event calendar, and of course train them and mentor them. So, in a perfect world we'd like to have a Host and DJ mgr for each day, but I'm realistic, and between me, Cris, and my sister Bane who will be helping us (we all being DJ's) can handle the DJ stuff if need be.  We do NOT expect ya'll to be "married" to the club on your "day" .. but, when you're logged in we'd like you to at least make an appearance at the club and to always be available in IMs and able to respond back fairly quickly or find someone who can take care of it.
