Design a retro-style space station befitting a retro sci-fi group!

As AtomPunk takes form, many things are possible with group membership. Plans for roleplay scenes, DJ and party events, contests and more... and what better way to have these kick off than in a fitting space station right out of the "Golden Age of Science Fiction"?

AtomPunk! is inviting all creative minds - members or otherwise - to compete in designing what will become our permanent base and group headquarters!

PRIZE: 2.000 Lindens

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  February 25, 2013, 11:59pm SLT

DESIGN GUIDELINES:  Max Size - 100m x 100m x 100m area: The station should not exceed that designated space 250 prims max (unfurnished building/main structure only) 512x512 textures max size preferred (exceptions permitted)

FEATURES:  (Include the following, as well as any other ideas that come to mind) - Command Bridge - Large Social Hall (for parties and big events) - Observation Areas (to enjoy the view outside) - Vendor Areas (small, leasable store spaces 4 to 5m x 5m) - Docking/Landing Areas (berthing for ships, "lease a space") - In-Ship Living Quarters (rentable tenancy) - Other ideas at Engineer's Discretion

SUBMISSIONS: All creations must be original (not copied from another creator in or outside of SL).

Initial submissions must be snapshots including at least 1 of the entire build from outside, and no less that 3 interior views. Name the photos: <your name>-Station 1, <your name>-Station 2, etc.  Example: CorpCosmic-Station 1.

The top three will be selected based upon how close to theme and requirements the base fits, originality and general appearance as shown in the snapshots. The finalists will be asked to rezz their base at a site to be announced, and AtomPunk members will be invited to view and vote on their favorite.

WINNER ANNOUNCED: The final winner of the contest will be announced with the hosting of a party March 2, 2013! Details to come.
