SL Maps not working for me!

Hi there,

I have a new PC (windows 7) and for some reason whenever i click on "visit this destination" on the sl map i get this message: 

We've encountered a problem. We were unable to complete the search for the content you requested. Please continue exploring the map while we look into the cause. Thank you for your patience!

It's driving me crazy! Anyone know how to fix this? Is there a work-around?

I open the World map, find a Region by name, or by scanning the map, zoom in on the Region, and double click on the map to teleport.

 

Are you talking about the Inworld Map, or the World Map link at the top of this page? That thing is junk. up there.

SL world map is the problem - when i try the Teleport now button I get the error message and it does not work opening the map coordinates and clicking from there either. The only way I can use the map is to:

• find and copy a slurl on the world map
• log into SL via my normal viewer 
• paste the world map slurl into local chat, then
• click it to go to the location.

It's a real hassle. Any ideas? Is this a windows 7 problem and, if so, is there a fix?

I'm having the same problem since a few weeks. Before it was just working fine. Any idea on how to solve the problem ? Tks
