When I wear a mesh dress with an alpha and then add shoes, my feet stick straight out of the them...??  But the dress still looks fine...What am I doing wrong...this has happened with more than one dress.

So you are wearing an alpha layer for the dress, but not for the shoes, right?

You'd have to wear another alpha layer for the shoes. You can wear multiple alpha layers by selecting "Add" instead of "Wear" from the drop down list you get when you right-click on the alpha layer in your inventory if your viewer supports multiple clothing layers.

I see...the alpha from the shoes has disappeared when I added the one for the dress...I think I checked that to see if it was the case, but maybe not...I try it and let you know...thanks...

Along with the "Add" advice you need to know that not all viewers have the capability. If you are using an older viewer based on 1.23 then you won't be able to ADD. Some designers include generic alphas that include shoes along with alphaf for the dresses etc that they make. If you don't have those you will need to only wear ONE mesh item at a time OR if you can, switch to a newer style viewer like Firestorm or the LL official viewer.
