need help with getting into SL

been having an login isssue for an while now idk whats going on i been trying to figure it out been told several times to check firewall  settings i have ive done everything i can think of an been told to do still having issues

Grid Status is not currently reporting any issues.

A firewall block would give the "waiting for Region handshake message".

 

Try restarting your modem or router, restart your pc.

Change your Start Location to a Region named Smith.

If you are using a router in your home, try bypass it. Connect your PC to network modem directly and see if you can login or not.

Some modem has a router function in it(usually it has multiple LAN connectors). In that case, you should use Bridge instead of Router to connect multiple PCs. Otherwise, you may get unexpected slow response which eventually causes login problem.
