Hey! Where does "the big guy" list his parcels that he has up for grabs??

Is he holding out on us scavengers?  I want a full region, but I need to keep costs down, so $1L/sqm sounds good!

I think full regions are saved for auction. I happened to wander across a full region that had been abandoned this June and reverted back to Linden Lab control but wasn't for sale.

There are still whole regions for sale in main land available for less than 1/sqm all u have to do is spend some time and find them manually

Yep, it's a scavenger hunt.  Think about who would be likely to abandon a whole sim's worth of land - not many people I should think. So they are coming up relatively rarely, but as with all land that is abandoned now, it is automatically reset for sale, so you just need to scour the mainland with the "land for sale" clicked so it shows up all nice and yellow.

Do you absolutely need a full sim? Because, just whizzing around the mainland right now, there is a half-decent big chunk of land at Baji (59,888 with no roads running through), been abandoned since May.

Smaller and with roads running through or chunk off the corner: Walker, Walpole, Craggen Maw.

Go, go, GO take a look, before the Gov grabs them for auction land !

In the land at Baji, don't be put off by the 16m hole, as you could buy that too; it's been abandoned but not reset for sale, so would only require a ticket to LL once you owned the main parcel. And it's just a yoga person taking up the 3000 or so in the corner, so I doubt you'd have many problems with the other neighbour on your sim. :matte-motes-big-grin:

Thank you everyone for your ideas and suggestions! We decided we actually like Molvena region, so we snagged it up last night! One thing helped us alot... going to  www.gridsurvey.com  and looking up our current parcels regions, and the ones we were contemplating... We discovered the region we were having problems with was really being over stressed on the server, so the issues were NOT in our heads! Phew!  (takes off the straight jacket)

Now... to move everything!

Anyone know the number for Allied Van Lines?
