My question on why I cannot load SL has been answered. I HAVE Wi-Fi. I found I need to have cable or DSL. Grrrrr.

Please know that you don't need to start new threads each time you want to add something here on the Answers section.  The software is a little bit loopy, and there is no "reply" button, so you have to either click on "options" at the top right hand corner of your original post to "edit" and add more information there, or you can click on "permalink" at the bottom of whichever response you would like to comment on.

Some people do access SL via wireless, but it is very problematic and never recommended.  Hope to have you hard-wired and back here again soon. :matte-motes-big-grin:

I doubt very much that's the reason. May give you poor or sometimes erratic performance but shouldn't stop you loading SL.

Please advise your computer specifications including processor, graphics card, memory, OS etc or a link to your computer model and then we can try and help.
