why is my avatar an orb

Ive never had this problem till now and its been the same thing for a month . my avatar never loads : it just remains an orb . No matte rhow long im on for , no matter how many times i sign out , no matter what viewer i use , my avatar wont show up! its been going this for a month so i havent been playing. It cant be my internet because i have moved back and fourth to different places and wether im on wired or wireless internet it still wont load ! what do i do? should i compltely delete secondlife and reload it? would that work ?

Before considering deleting and reinstalling SL, the first step would be to try the fixes provided in these links (try them methodically step by step), and make sure that, when you log back in, you wait until your inventory is fully loaded before trying to move.
