Pandora Wrigglesworth
I'm working on a rigged mesh in 3DSMax and I'm having difficulty uploading it to SL. When I try, I get an error message about a "DAE Parsing Issue" and the log includes a line like:INFO: LLModelPreview::verifyCount: Error: (expected/got)6804/6155vertsI have heard that this means that some vertices may not have any skin weighting but I went into the skin and checked the Skin Weight Table and there are definitely no vertices without skin weights. Is there anything else this line in the log could mean? For example, are there any limits on the number of bones to which a given vertex can be weighted?
Gaia Clary
A vertex can be weighted against up to 4 bones (This is a limitation of Second Life as far as i know)
Pandora Wrigglesworth
I checked my Vertex Weight Table and none of the vertices are affected by more than four bones.
