Rigged Mesh Upload Trouble

I'm working on a rigged mesh in 3DSMax and I'm having difficulty uploading it to SL. When I try, I get an error message about a "DAE Parsing Issue" and the log includes a line like:

INFO: LLModelPreview::verifyCount: Error: (expected/got)6804/6155verts

I have heard that this means that some vertices may not have any skin weighting but I went into the skin and checked the Skin Weight Table and there are definitely no vertices without skin weights.

Is there anything else this line in the log could mean? For example, are there any limits on the number of bones to which a given vertex can be weighted?
