when i buy clothes, my avatar wears a box or billboard of the clothes instead of the actual outfit??

When I buy or select an outfit I bought and put it on my avatar. Instead of wearing it, its like a huge board of the outfit that goes through her, or a cubed box of the outfit going through her. I dont understand why i cant just select the outfit and my avatar wears it.
