That seems to still be okay, which I find surprising because that is rife with scammers. I think that's more of a gamble than a machine where you at least know you will get something more than an empty box.

I bought a sim a few years ago to help a friend out. Long story short, almost all of the original tenants have left, i have a 1/4 sim open, and am having trouble making tier without paying. Is it possible to just 'abandon' a sim, because there's no way I'm going to find a buyer without traffic in world being so low. I can't find anything on the website other than selling/transferring. Help!

I can only speak for myself, but if the first words in my friend's response wasn't 'omg i am so sorry for your loss' - or words of that nature - I would definitely evaluate what level of friendship we shared. As someone who is incredibly self-absorbed, I may have felt dismayed that my friend didn't respond, but even I would never say that to them under these circumstances. You may stay friends with this person, but my guess is they've dropped a few rungs on the friendship ladder. I am truly sorry for your losses. One right after the other like that must have been devastating. I'm glad you took the time to write this.
