How do i upload a picture for my avatar on the SL website?

it said i have no approved images and that i could upload one under "my images" on my profile page ... but i do not see the link for that. so how do i upload a picture for my avatar..

You have to upload a pic from your computer (not your inventory). The file must be JPG., PNG. or GIF and must not exceed 5Mb.

Hello Selina. If you use the official viewer 3 open your profile (if not visit https://my.secondlife.com/selina.queenstown ). You can't use a pic directly from your inventory. The pic should be shaved in your hard disk. So take a shapshot and save it in your computer. Open your profile --> Edit profile --> Profile picture --> Choose file --> select a pic with one of the following extensions: a) .jpg b). gif c) .png --> Open --> Upload. Same way you upload a RL pic.

download a pic editor.. example acdsee

select your pic 

edit mode

convert again to jpg, tga u decide

sometimes jpg isnt compatible.. so u need reconvert it to same format.. sound weird?

do not try to uplad a 124 pix pic..
