After a prim is unlinked how do I delete it?

I already know how to unlink it, no one EVER says how to get rid of the darn thing after that. I don't wanna set all it's sizes to 0.01 and hide the dot inside me I want to kill that piece from existance forever!

An unlinked prim is just there as an individual prim oriented in its old position in the assembly of the original link-set it was in. It is now individually selectable and you can just Edit / Delete it like any other prim.
