I have tried logging into SL and SL needs to update to download version 3.8.1.303130. Wont install. It gets to the point of stalling as it checks network connection but does not do anything beyond that. Need Help in completing the install.

I had problems with some of my avitars I had saved trying to wear inventory. I went in an deleted the avitar to start from scratch, when I did, it deleted my inventory, now I got an avitar I can't save it, says its unsaved, I cant wear any of the inventory items I have.
