  1. also i looked on this website that said my video card was on the low side of high end. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html Half the time when i try to log in, it gives me this error message. Unable to connect to Second Life. Connection to "htt[s://login.agni.lindenlag.com/cgi-bin/login.cgi" stalled: download speed dropped below 1500 bytes for 120 seconds(up till that point, XMLRPCResponder recieved a total of 4106 bytes). To change these values, go to Advanced--> Debug Settings and change CurlTimeoutLowSpeedLimit and CurlTimeoutLowSpeedTime respectively. I have seen this before. a friend of mine who is really good with computers has tried twice to look into the settings he changed those CurlTimeoutLowSpeed and CurlTimeoutLowSpeedTime, raisint them from 700bytes to 1500. He also made sure my frames per second cannot go crazy fast. I looked at my fps and what it is doing is going from normal (23-30) to 0 and back up which causes the jerk.
  2. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html i looked on that website. Im assuming you are talking about the info in the help tab of my viewer? here it is Singularity Viewer 1.8.6 (6157) Feb 26 2015 23:47:22 (Singularity) Release Notes Grid: Second Life Built with MSVC version 1600 CPU: AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core Processor (2500.22 MHz) Memory: 8185 MB OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit Service Pack 1 (Build 7601) Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation Graphics Card: GeForce GT 730/PCIe/SSE2 Windows Graphics Driver Version: 10.18.0013.5330 OpenGL Version: 4.5.0 NVIDIA 353.30 RLV Version: RLV v2.8.0 / RLVa v1.4.10a Viewer SSE Version: SSE2 libcurl Version: libcurl/7.21.1 OpenSSL/1.0.0g zlib/1.2.5 c-ares/1.7.1 J2C Decoder Version: OpenJPEG: 1.5.2 Audio Driver Version: (none) Qt Webkit Version: 4.7.1 (version number hard-coded)
  3. OMG thank you so much! i didnt know you could get that. ok i got it all copied here it is Singularity Viewer 1.8.6 (6157) Feb 26 2015 23:47:22 (Singularity) Release Notes Grid: Second Life Built with MSVC version 1600 CPU: AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core Processor (2500.22 MHz) Memory: 8185 MB OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit Service Pack 1 (Build 7601) Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation Graphics Card: GeForce GT 730/PCIe/SSE2 Windows Graphics Driver Version: 10.18.0013.5330 OpenGL Version: 4.5.0 NVIDIA 353.30 RLV Version: RLV v2.8.0 / RLVa v1.4.10a Viewer SSE Version: SSE2 libcurl Version: libcurl/7.21.1 OpenSSL/1.0.0g zlib/1.2.5 c-ares/1.7.1 J2C Decoder Version: OpenJPEG: 1.5.2 Audio Driver Version: (none) Qt Webkit Version: 4.7.1 (version number hard-coded)
  4. if i could log in long enough to get that information i would. but it crashes in seconds
  5. Im at my wits end with my computer about. ok, I have been using singularity on my computer for a while. the computer was my moms before she got a new one so its mine. I ran singularity viewer when it was hers with no trouble. I formatted it and installed all the drivers and stuff and downloaded the viewer. When i open the program it says that a media plugin webkit has failed. I login and everything seems to be going in fast foward. My AO moves through all the animations in a matter of less than two seconds. everything around my avitar is doing the same thing. trees vibrate cuz they are programmed to sway in the "breeze". I posted a question on this a week ago and someone said i needed a new video card. so i got a new one. a NVIDIA geforece 730 GT mini. I looked online and its a good video card. on the high end chart on this benchmark website. I downloaded the updates for the card and singularity worked fine last night for a while. When i get on at noon slt, it does all this. I reinstalled it, didnt work, i even used revo uninstaller which makes sure and wipes your hard drive of ANY files even registry ones that have to do with the viewer. Like i said it does that fast moving thing and within maybe 5 seconds it crashes. I have no idea what could be causing this. The same thing happens with Firestorm also. Please help. Ive also tried installing older versions
  6. I have been having problems when I log in to second life recently. Whether I use Singularity or Firestorm viewers. I noticed the problem about two weeks ago when I installed the two viewers onto my new computer. I’m running windows 7 ultimate 64-bit operating system and I have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 graphics card in my computer. The problem I am having is sometimes when I log into second life, everything in the in world region is shaking/jumping/twitching, whatever you want to call it. Everything also says loading in my inventory and above my avatar for over twenty minutes and usually kicks me. Now I say sometimes because it usually does this problem, but once in a while when I log in, it works perfectly fine. And I’m logging into the same region originally, but when I notice the problem I try logging into different regions, always with the same results. Sometimes it won’t even log me in, saying “login failed: waiting on server response”. I updated my graphics card driver the day before yesterday and yesterday second life worked fine. But today when I logged in, everything was shaking again. It’s only the things in world. Not my inventory, or my other programs open on the computer. Only things in second life. My avatar rarely loads when I have this problem. If someone could help me I would appreciate it so much. This is really frustrating. It has to be a problem with my computer, because I use the viewers on my mom’s computer and they work fine, I may not have the latest viewers on her computer though. Please help!!!
  7. i made some mesh in marvelous designer, then edited it in blender and exported it to upload into sl.. when i export the mesh clothing item, a friend told me i should select to export it in meters because thats what sl uses. when i do that, the size goes down to like 0.1% and uploads into sl really teeny tiny. what should i set the size on? any ideas? ps i dont have avistar EDIT---------------------- i found out i was rezzing them after all, only they were teeny tiny. so im gonna scale them at 10000 or something and try that. a friend told me thats what happened to them. fingers crossed. thanks for the help tho
  8. Ok so i made some mesh clothing in Marvelous Designer 3, and wanted to make the different sizes xs, s, m, l, xl. I tweaked my sl avatar to match those sizes and exported the mesh to obj files by using singularity (advanced>character>meshes and morphs> then i went in each head, upper and lower body to save the current mesh to obj.) i then imported the body parts into blender(WITHOUT AVASTAR) and after joining them, i imported the mesh clothing so i could shrinkwrap it to the different sizes of avatars that i joined. i got everything to look great in blender, first got it scaled down a bit then added a subdivision surface modifier and finally a shrinkwrap modifier with the avatar model i imported as the target. when i uploaded it into second life, it was teeny tiny and attatched to the tiny avatar model i had in blender and it was not shrinkwraped. im pretty new at blender, so i dont use it to make the mesh, marvelous designer is allot easie for me. i tried to import my joined avatar i made using blender into marvelous designer as a dae file and it doesnt show up. can someone either tell me how to import different sizes of avatars into marvelous designer or tell me what im doing wrong in blender? i know its probably a bit of a mess. but help will be sooooo much appreciated!
