can't log in sl with new viewer i have a macbook pro its version 10.5.8 someone help me. asap

when i downloaded recommended link http://download.cloud.secondlife.com/Viewer-3/SecondLife_3_5_1_274821.dmg that one it didn't work as i downloaded it no problem however when i clicked to log in it quit and pop up window stated "The application Second Life Viewer quit unexpectedly after it was relaunched" it is so annoying as I want to play secondlife but it won't let me log in to do so can someone help me I would greatly appereciate it as i love building etc in sl so if you could help me i would greatly appreciate it.

You need at least Snow Leopard (10.6.6) to run the latest SL viewer version. Ideally, if your machine can handle it, upgrade to Lion or Mountain Lion. Check the Apple website forums for advices and Apple Store for prices and technical informations.

And remember to avoid wireless: it is not stable enough for SL. Make sure you are wired through an Ethernet Base 100 cable.
