How do I make land visible in the default search (Default= for sale) rather than 'for rent' search?

I am trying to find out how to make my land sale visible in the 'sale' land/rental search.

(I did all of the following: I did check the 'show place in search', I did put it up for sale, and I did add the key words '1/2 Homestead Rental' in the 'about land description')... - still no luck - I cannot find it in the 'sale' search.

What do I mean by that?

It actually does show up in the search, however only if I click the 'for rent' radio button using the green filter option on the left side of the screen, however it is not showing up when the 'for sale' filter option is ticked (which is the default). 

 

Can you please advise? How is this filter (for sale vs. for rent) determined (which formatted field is behind it)?
