Oh, if we could only weed out stalkers from all! Sadly, some inworld would see a group like that as a way to toy with people for sport. That being said, I have read a lot of posts and comments that touch me as genuine. I can relate, the dynamics and hyper speed start / end of all types of relationships here have been emotionally difficult for me at times.

 

I think I have hardened to it over the years; but not hard hearted. Maybe in chatting inworld with others that post similar issues here one will find and be able to give positive support.

I am not sure if this tip will help you, but a lot of skins have an eyebrow base or a tattoo layer too. Mine were always off or too much one way or the other. I tweaked my shape eyebrow settings and found an eyebrow base with a shape I liked.

I feel you, I am painfully shy myself. I thought I would open up more in sl, but I'm still me at core.

I agree with the above. Work on your avie, make it who you want to be and make or have made some nice pics. The most common things people start a conversation with me about is my pics and the work I put in my avie. Seems like vanity, but it isn't, I look at as appreciation and the reward is the other person helping me bust through the shyness.
