[Posted 1:30 PM PDT, 18 September 2013] We will be performing scheduled maintenance on our billing engine Thursday, September 19, 2013 beginning at 8:30 AM PDT. During this time some our billing services including LindeX and Marketplace, may not be available. Please continue to check this blog for updates.

  2. I suggest you go to the laptop manufacturers web site to get a Driver Update.

If you are on a Wireless Connection be carerful not to over set the Bandwith control, 500 is recomnended for wireless.

Connecting your laptop to the MODEM with an ethernet cable is way better than wireless.

  3. I have a fix for the Cloud Bakefail but please get your logs before you apply this fix.

Instructions are near the bottom of the page.

How To Give Us Your Logs

    http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/file_a_jira

Substitute your Viewer with any Firestorm referrance.

1 Do a Character Test ( FS - Avatar menu > Avatar Health > Reset Male or Female )
                                         ( Singularity - Advanced Menu { CTRL ALT D} > Character > Character Tests > Male or Female ).

    2 Relog.

3 Open Inventory >  click Recent tab > Wait for all to load . Dont do anything else.
If it stops loading do Step 2 and 3 again.

    4 Relog

5 Open Inventory >  click Recent tab > Wait for all to load .
You should see the Test Avatar.

6 Wear an outfit one item at a time. Use ADD or WEAR do not use Replace.

7 Relog once when your Avatar and Inventory are correct.

Please take your logs again when you are sorted.

Contact me inworld to send your logs to Linden Labs

  4. I have seen many cases of inventory not loading, infact more than ever before SSA.

It seems SSA has a way of stopping inventory from loading if your last Current Outfit is messed up somehow.

Doing a Character Test and then Relog to load inventory has worked for many.

I do Viewer Support work and thats where I am seeing the increase in inventory load fails.

This is not my issue so I cant report it.

I encourage all with this issue to report it in a Jira.

  5. It seems that SSA can stop inventory from loading.

    I suggest this process;

1 Go to a LL Water Region ( search Map for Blake Sea )  and TP to a vacant one.

    2 Do a Character Test.

    3 Relog to Last Location.

4 Click Recent Tab in Inventory. ( Starts the loading process )

5 Dont do anything else just watch inventory number increase. If it stops loading Relog and continue until all is loaded.

    6 Wear an Outfit.

    7 Relog

If this fails also see this page  >  http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Inventory_loss

  6. I have helped 4 people now that had this issue.

    Steps Taken;

1 Do a Character Test in a LL water region. Search the Map for Blake Sea or Nautilus then TP to a vacant one.

2 Relog and load inventory by clicking Recent tab in inventory. If the loading stops relog and continue loading. Do this as many times it takes to load all inventory.

3 When you dont see ( Fetched ) anywhere in the inventory dialog loading is done.

4 Relog and then top up inventory ( Click Recent )

5 Wear your outfit one item at a time, use Wear not Add or Replace. Once done go into Edit Appeanace Shape and load the parts there.

6 Close Appearance and then relog and top up inventory.

I hope this will help some people.

  7. Hello Timothy

Sorry I took so long to answer after your submission of Hardware.

ATI Graphic Cards have a small problem with VBO. Go into Preferences and Graphics Tab then bottom Right is Hardware Options. Disable the VBO there and Shaders too. I think that will keep you online.

    Best Wishes
