    that's what people do NOT get.  The fact that LL lets people cash OUT of LL is the Luxury.   

    IF that was true there would not be so many ways to make money in SL.

    I notice a lot of people saying that gachas were a scam. No, they were not a scam. Everyone who played knew what they were getting - a CHANCE to get a rare item. LL is only following international laws to protect their business - as they should do. If the laws were not changing, LL would surely leave it alone. Personally, I enjoyed the gachas. I will be sad to see them go. But I am sure the more creative creators will find new ways to market their creations.

    Well, I enjoyed gachas. Sorry to read this news. But LL gotta do what LL gotta do. It's not easy being a worldwide entity. Gotta make a whole lot of different people happy. Everything gets sanitized down to the lowest common denominator. I guess I better go play some gachas for old time's sake!

    2. We like the Yavapods system
    3. We use it in Bellisseria as the "engine" for the ferry boats, with Yavanna's permission of course

    These items do not seem like a recipe for a change in policy.  Hopefully things will unfold and we'll get to the bottom of this in a positive manner.  I can't really see any other way forward, and the team and I have no reason to not support or help Yavanna. 

    Brotha Patch!  You are the best!  So glad to see you jumping on this on a Friday afternoon.  Have an awesome weekend!  If anyone can straighten this out, you can!

    Speaking of those new Linden Homes... I was watching them build the new land months ago.  I would love to get one just to check it out.  But no luck so far.

    I am glat to see this news!  I was a victim of a land bot when I was kind of new.  Tried to sell a friend land for a dollar and a land bot sucked it up.  I even wrote a song about it!  Got away cheap compared to others I have heard about.  I was able to buy my land back a few days later for 700 lindens.

    While that probably won't stop the practice, it at least gives people grounds to AR the culprits. 

     

    ETA   The change seems, in fact,  to have taken place Mid December 2013.   My mistake.

    The great thing about her cars was that you could cam around and look at the scenery instead of concentrating on driving.  But I do see why people didn't like them as well.  Oh well.  The mainland roads are so dead without them.  Maybe there will be a new improved version someday.
