[Changes to the jira.. hiding bug reports?]

Just wondering how many more replications of the following ( http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Second-Life-Viewer/Shocking-Pink-World-in-latest-SL-viewer/m-p/1666811 ) they'll be getting as bug reports? This issue incidentally is one I did find as a result of a search in google ( https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-28367 )

It is not uncommon for residents to ask questions in support group chat which can be answered by referring to a jira report. The most obvious recent example was the "unable to rez on my property" bug where, during the time the bug existed, I'd see the question "Why can't I rez on my land" asked frequently in New Citizens Inc and occasionally in Caledon Oxbridge University Group.

How much of the new policy is due to the following, or rather, to the lawyers running through worst-case scenarios.

As far as I can tell, Ubuntu 11.04 has a regression in some of the 32 bit compatibility libraries causing the wrong libraries to be loaded. As pointed out, Maverick does not have this error (now)

Building, testing, but not finding any issues that aren't already known. Finding one or two unexpected uses for mesh.

Tested it, adjust the sliders to 50% and OMG... jello

Retested and tweaked max effect to 5%. That looks better.

I chose to use Wings3d to get started in mesh because I had used it for sculpted prims previously. Version 1.2 has collada import/export support. There doesn't seem to be anyway of creating a riggable mesh so I've restricted myself to veicles and architecture.
