  1. No I haven't messed with any other debugs.  I tried all that was suggested, now I am  getting this error message while logged in:

NVIDEA OpenGL lost connection with display driver due to exceeding Windows time-out limit.   Error Code 7.  Plus I am still getting intermittent mouse freezing up.  This computer is only a little over a year old (Alienware X51).  Don't know what else to do!  Thanks!!

  2. For the past three weeks, I have had issues with my screen freezing up after I log in to SL.  Normally the message error is " display driver has stopped responding and had recovered".  Sometimes my mouse will freeze up as well.  All of my drivers are current.  I had a computer guy come out this week to look at it and he downloaded updated BIOS, but evidently that didn't fix the problem.  I need help, I don't know what else to do!   My computer specs:

  3. When taking closeup photos, my background, whatever it may be, appears blurry.  I use Firestorm 24880.  The size of my snapshot is set at 5000 x 2578, checked constrain proportions, image quality is 100 and on capture colors.  Suggestions on getting a clear background?

    Thanks!

  4. I am a Gimp user and have been for a couple years.  I want to apply a drop shadow on an image that has a background of a brick wall.  I have viewed Photoshop tutorials that do the same and there should be a way that Gimp can do something similar.  I am aware I have to do layering, and I am not using text so that doesn't apply.  Attaching a photo to show what I want - drop shadow of avatar.  Can anyone help please?  Thanks!

  5. I am a Gimp user and am trying to apply a drop shadow on am image with a background (such as a wall).  I want to keep the background image.  How do I apply a drop shadow to the "person" to appear more natural?  I have searched and searched the internet for tutorials and most everything takes away the background image.  Please help!  I would like detailed instructions or a video tutorial that I can use.

    Thanks,

  6. Why do I appear naked (on the torso at least) while wearing mesh?  I am using Firestorm Release 24880.  I don't see myself that way nor does anyone else that uses a viewer that supports mesh, but those that don't use the mesh supporting viewer sees me partially naked.

  7. I downloaded the new Firestorm Release (ver 3.2.2.24336) but when I go to log in, the screen is black.  Can't even close out without having to use the task manager.  Help!
