[Script for Making Objects Appear and Dissapear]

Lol, thank you all for your informative posts. 

 

I managed to find several options that will make linked prims disappear and then re-appear but they all depend on an avatar clicking the prim to activate this effect. Is it possible to have a script where the object fades in and out of view without any interaction necessary ?

Hello all :)

I would like to create ephemeral objects and images on my sim, for example having rainbows that appear and resolve into nothing and then become visible again.

I am a complete beginner in terms of scripting but I assume I need something that cycles the object transparancy from 0-100 and then back again.

Can anyone help me ? It would be great to be able to adjust the speed of the appearance and dissapperance easily.

Does anyone have any tips on how to stream the video and audio from SL so that people can view meetings and events in-world without actually using SL ?

We regularly host meetings where the avatar capacity is reached on our sim and would like to be able to include more participants.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated :)

I would like to create one building  across two sims so as to create one large meeting space with double the avatar capacity.

Are there any tutorials on how to do this or does anyone have any tips or suggestions ?

Dear Medhue, thank you for your quick reply.

 

I did make some speech gestures with DAZ 3d but found that operating myself and other's avatars like a puppet whilst looking good was a bit too complicated.

 

I work for a company that has many trainers who do speech presentations in SL so if you are able to create a few sets that contain simple head and hand movements triggered by the speech that would be awesome. I know you are a very creative and skilled SL animator so I am very excited by your offer. I will of course be able to pay for such a bespoke service.

Does anyone know of a simple animation override package that will make your avater move it's arms and head when talking in a subtle natural manner ? ( for both sitting and standing).
