this is a market distribution question.. if someone has you listed as say 10% distributed payout on each sale, anyway to remove your self ? if they will not?

but still comes with questions, I've never been asked anything for taxes?? just my basic sign up info back in a decade ago..lol my PP is verified si like heck 1999 lol.. and if they ask questions thats fine why NO one at LL knew of this? who retains the info? this wont tax info this was personal info, just like if i went ot see my credit, or a bank would ask ect to open an account or something house loan ect..

This happend like back in Jan 16, but I still have yet to get a clear answer.. well its been buggin me!
I did a cash out to paypal.. missed the email to come back to SL an comfirm it.. so a Linden answered my ticket an said he /she would resend the request.. on but when I followed the link back to SL, I got asked questions of like where I lived before also people I knew.. dating back to like 18 yrs ago... That linden did not answer me an closed the ticket to WHY? No one at Linden Labs knew of this execpt 1 guy at IT security, heard of it befor an said it's IRS wanting to know... Since when does IRS got through a game site to verify people? to my knowlege I never left the SL website, it did when donw confirm an send my money to PP... but I still have questions Since when can any company tap in to the database that banks, IRS and credit use to prove Identity?? Then why no one at customer service or billing knew of this? Has this happened to anyone else here? I've NEVER been asked to fill out a 1099 via 3rd party period! I've never pulled enough to even thinking of needing to do that.. Reason I am trying to figure this out now is cause I was thinking of startin a market/biz ect but I wonder if well this unknown thing that happen..... was real or some kind of scam... For a company not to know of the way it handles payout?????? so far I have yet to find any written information on this? Almost like Am I the only one??? if so WHY?

I had my cash balance sent to pay pal.... 2 weeks later an a ticket, there was an email verification i missed i guess.. ok no worries they sent another one. well that link took me back to SL an i had to answer PERSONAL questions dating back 18yrs?? Like the kind you see in IRS or checking your credit. Since when does a business go that deep into it's customers background????? a bank yes,, irs yes.. credit yes... LL????????????????????? I have verified paypal and prem account w/ 2nd life.. so???? and this is not the 1st i have doen this! Just the 1st time I had to do this just to get my money? Anyone else running into this problem??????? I asked the Linden why got - now it can be procesed and CASE CLOSED........ Is LL farming our info.. why would then need to know if i knew someon 18 yrs ago, where i maybe have lived 10+ yrs ago ?? reallly?
Any ideas anyone?

ya as she removes stuff more attaches an she can not say just click in her inv an say replace to remove all or anything like that

i got a friend that contacted LL with a problem.
she logged in an like wearing all her invintory.. well not all cause when she removes stuff more just replaces what she removes and then crashes..she said LL replied back with "resolved"
now after several different viewers and all ect... nothing has changed... any ideas anyone
she cant replace ect nothing from her inv... only remove just to get it replaced. then after a min crash from doing so..
. i mean anything cars house many different avies at one time u name it...
she's about to quit SL over this
also, slowinig the sim down also when she loges back in...

Linden Labs asking for personal information?

I know this is an old post, BUT my experience was not as above i was asked these "personal questions" dating back 18 yrs... was never asked to give my SSN or fill out via 3rd party a 1099 per tos cause they don't want to be responsible for the info....... Also NO ONE at LL knew about this when it happened to me in hmm jan 2014... billing or customer service.... all told me that they never heard of this i was phished, even when I told them this was through the SL web site an message from a LL employee all b4 I could get my 181 bucks out... like I told all of them .. I've own sims ect.. I have put way more into SL than the pocket change i was taking out.. but like some others here my question is if this is the new process then why LL know NOTHING about esp at the time and how is the info safeguarded? seems my experience did not go as umm smooth as the others.. I mean being told I am crazy LL does not do this an it would seem they knew all the time ... if so why such a secret? really? why? I just happen to run across this thought I'd add my 2 cents.
