[Why am I having so much trouble assigning titles to the roles I create in my Group]

Why will the titles I create for Roles in my Group not show up above a person in my groups name?

I am landscaping in SL, how can I purchase plants and give the client ownership when many are no transfer?  Is this done by deeding to a group?  Thank you.
