  1. Hi Phil, the latter, a 50/50 partnership of the work and profits, as a guide here is the original split of duties when we started Fusion as a partnership:

    • To oversee Marketing Manager and ensure sold advertising and advertising contact is logged in appropriate document.
    • To recruit and induct magazine writers when needed, with Libby as appropriate.
    • To ensure all staff have Dropbox installed on their systems and know how/when to use it.
    • Copy proof/editing of written content and make suggestions on improvement where necessary.
    • Joint final approval with Libby of complete magazine before print.
    • Compiling and printing magazine in world and sending to SOM.

    • Layout of magazine and uploading to SL & publishing on Issuu.
    • To sign off any photography expenses, with partner as appropriate.
    • Assigning and managing photographers/creative staff.
    • Booking monthly cover photographer as appropriate.
    • To liaise with fashion editor to decide on monthly fashion section size & format.

This would obviously be up for change and discussion depending on the person.

  2. About Fusion Magazine - Second Life is beautiful in its diversity. It's what makes it such an amazing platform for the thousands of creators who make up this environment. From fashion designers to builders, from musicians to digital artists, each area encompassing a huge range of styles and niches. Our aim at Fusion is to offer our readers the opportunity to explore a feast of creation, all through the medium of beautiful photography and design.

Fusion Magazine recently had its one year anniversary, and that's something I'm immensely proud of, I'm also proud of the hugely talented team that works so hard every month to make Fusion full of beautiful content, however, from a managerial perspective, I've been running Fusion singlehandedly for a long time and my circumstances now mean this is a situation that cannot continue.

I am looking for someone who wishes to become a 50/50 partner in Fusion Magazine and who has the time and the business skills to make their mark and help make Fusion as financially successful as it is creatively. This is a role that you will be able to create for yourself, I am very flexible and open to ideas and new directions.

Fusion Magazine has been financially healthy and profitable in the past, and I believe with the right person handling the numbers it can be even more so in the future.

If you are interested and would like to talk more about Fusion and a potential partnership please don't hesitate to email me (celestialheather@gmail.com) or contact me inworld.

  5. Update - oh thank you Charlotte, how weird! I'll try that, thanks for the response!

The picture on one of my listings has vanished. It hasn't got the no picture uploaded placer picture, it's just got nothing there at all. I've tried editing it to add the picture again but it just won't show up. I don't really want to start a new listing as this one has a few great reviews and 5 stars which I don't want to lose as it it's also on the first page of its category.

Any ideas or should I start a ticket?

    Thanks!

  6. Bah, this is so frustrating! I can't go into edit mode without crashing, it's happened on the most recent LL release, Phoenix and Firestorm. Any ideas?

-edit- It's been happening for about a week so I'm not sure if the server issues today can explain it? From the little bit of research I've done it looks like it's a mesh issue, supposedly fixed in the new Firestorm version, so going to try that.

-edit 2- Newest Firestorm didn't help.... arghh!

-annoying workaround- I removed my mesh items, edit mode now works fine. Please fix this LL.
