I have this problem as well, its very frustraing.... I downloaded new versions of  qucktime and adobe flash player, made sure plugins, cookies, and java scripts were enabled in preferences and I've even tried re-downloading firestorm with my antivirus program disabled, I still cannot search. the window pops up but its all greay and i cannot type anything.

I'm also having this problem. No prim eyes, just the actual "eyeball" seems to be poking out from my skin under the eye a bit. The only way i was able to fix it was to edit my shape and make the eye socket wider, but than my eyes look much too big. I haven't changed my shape recently, or at least nothing around the eyes.
