I'm experiencing the same issue. The "Save" button stays gray, no matter if I select an image from the inventory or upload a new one. I already tried to update Firesterom to the latest version and even tried to update the pic using the official SL viewer: no success. Last time I changed my profile pic was in November 2022. I changed my public name ages ago, for sure not recently.
