(firestorm viewer) so for the longest time in decorating or budling things in sl, ive used the lock feature on objects to keep from moving them or deleting them while doing stuff, for me it has alwaaaaaaaays, never even highlighted/selected the locked object if say select a group of objects in the area around it, an click delete, i never ever have gotten the "one or more objects is locked you sure you want to delete?" prompt once, so then suddenly just now like magic the locked feature changed how it works, an so when i selected a group of objects an hit delete, it gave me that prompt an i was so confused an tired i hit delete anyways, an from what i hear your always suppose to have been able to highlight locked objects when your select a group of things, an your always suppose to get the prompt, even though though its never ever done this in the past. an no i havent updated firestorm or anything sense the last update so ive been using same version for a long time.

  2. so just getting house an furniture learning lots on how it works, i was on groups rezz platform, where other ppl have there stuff to test an set up things, i learned if i placed objects out an as long as right click editing 1 of my items first an drag mouse id select  just my items, if i dont right click edit 1 of my objects first it will just grab everything, so i got my house all set up an furniture an things placed right, selected all my stuff picked up an went to place in our housing area, didnt place correctly, right clicked 1 of my items, open edit menu, clicked and dragged..... an it keeps selecting everyone elses stuff not just mine, even though it only grabs my stuff when i do this at rezzing platform

  3. only thats not how it works, the max they can give you is 841$, that does not mean everyone gets the max, they add up your rent and utilities (plus a few other factors) an give you an amount based on what you need, so if your rent and utilities are 400$ they do not give you 841$

    Your SSDI should be much more than that amount.  With that account you could try to use the debit card with Tilia, or use your new bank account to open a pay pal account in your name and verify the account with your bank.  How do you receive your disability income?  That in itself could be adequate ID for Tilia.  As long as you have internet service, there is no reason to use a local bank. Somewhere along the line you are not getting the advice you need given your needs.

    If you are not receiving state and federal assistance for your disability, why not?   How are you earning that cash money that you use to pay your bills?

    its not SSDI, SSDI is for people who work then became disabled while working (the minority of disabled), an thats if you earned enough work credits,  but if your born disabled or become so before having work credits your on SSI (the majority of disabled cases), as such ssi only gives you exact funding for bills and rent, you dont have extra after

  5. i can when im born disabled unable to work, so i get less money per month then i need to live on so i have no money to save up, an every bank within an hr drive (which im unable to drive and its hard to get rides living out in middle of nowhere cause its cheapest) requires ether X amount of money in the bank to open an account and or having to keep that account open for so long and or fees if you dont have a certain amount and or fees if you dont spend a little each month. there for creating a system in which im unable to get paypal through my own means. thus not everyone can get paypal, excluding people from possibility of payout.

    an if we are speaking of LL support its one of the worst out there, if you go to the support ticket page your not able to customize your own thing, there is a small limited number of options for issues an if yours isnt one of the few options theres no "other" so i came here because this was much more informal then what ever they could or would provide 

  6. so i finally got them to stop the KYC application, an went to the paypal, the paypal is already verified by ID, ssn, bank and so on. someone earlier said if paypal wasnt verified you had to go through all the checks on here, well it is, so i gotta go through it all again here even though paypal is verified ? 

  7. welp now im in battle with the very awful support team, trying to get my KYC application canceled until verify the paypal an such, i keep making tickets an they keep closing them saying issue resolved, but low and behold, application is still active.

    yes but as ive stated in this forum post, its not a ticket, going to support ticket page there is nothing. i started this going to account summary page, then trying to process credit, it said i needed more info so i put more info, then i got an email, it says in the email to update info in the ticket, but i go to support page , logged in on my account, go to tickets, an its empty

    If you submitted a ticket, you can find it using the orange buttons on the top, and once you find your ticket and their answers, you can reply with additional information.

     

    i cant access the site right now to show you cause it says its busy, but when going to like account summary, an processes credit it takes you to lil page fill out info, i sent, the sent me an email, i know of the support page you linked, i checked there first, there is no ticket there for it

    If you have an open ticket, you can reply to the ticket and add attachments.  If they really want a hard paper copy in color, not something you printed out or a file, then I guess it's snail mail.  But you can not do a balance transfer with paypal unless paypal knows your SSN and you have a bank account verified with paypal.  Or, use a credit card issued by a bank where you have an account.  

    With your SSN they can verify your name, address, and age.  

    yes but it doesnt say where to access the ticket, or if its just replying to the email, i cant find a ticket page in sl

  11. also also if after doing a ton of running around for hrs an trying really hard an finally coming up with something to send them, am i suppose to reply to the tilia email? cause it says on them email to provide more information to the ticket, but theres no links, an i doesnt say not to reply to email like other sites will do.

    And why not give them your SSN number?  Everyone else already has it through credit bureaus - the bar to obtain that information is very low.

     

    i think when they made the paypal account at the time they made it years ago they didnt need or use a ssn or ID, an they only sent money not receiving money

    You live in the USA?  I think all states will issue you a photo ID card if you don't have a drivers license. How did you get your paypal verified if you don't have a bank account or credit card?  Motor vehicle registration is only if you own the car, so that sounds more like a drivers license, and the DMV also issues ID cards.  They need your original birth certificate or certified copy and proof of your residence, since they trust no one anymore.

     

    like i said, i submitted my ID which has address on it but it wont accept that because they want your ID, an something separate that shows your adress

    i pay my parents my share of the bills an rent for room, so there is no thing for this.

  15. it sucks because they asked for ID which has address on it , but it has to be dated with 90 days? an i dont get mail or anything with dates on it like this old fashion style, i do everything electronic online only. i get nothing in paper

    2: im on the family plan with other ppl, cheaper that way so my name isnt on there

    3: i cant drive so dont have motor vehicle registartion

    4: LOL

    5:i wish i was rich enough for this

    6: firstly dont have a bank account, dont have any to save after bills, an i dont receive statements

    i never check the mail because i dont get any, how am i suppose to provide information on things like this

  18. i thought it was going to be a simple process, had your paypal, bam complete, had i known it was going to be a huge ordeal that requires 10 forms of identification and a ssn, i never would of started the process to begin with, makes me never want to spend money on SL ever again.

  19. so when providing information to process credit there was TWO options. 1 was to give your ssn number, 2 was not to give your ssn but other information. i went with 2 which required photo ID, sent that off, now im trying to figure out what i will do for the thing requiring the address on official documentation within the last 90days (fyi im probably screwed on this cause i dont get things like that) but in the same email they ask for that, at the bottom they ask for ssn.... why is there even an option that says you dont need your ssn if they turn around and ask for it anyways?

  20. so not really sure if im trying to complain or not just an odd thing happened. so you know how when on furniture theres adjust pose option, well its always moved everything together an worked just fine for me over the years on everything i sat on and i was using this chair ive used a million times before, only this time when i sat in it an adjusted the pose, only like half my body parts moved an the other parts stayed in original spot, changing avis and relogging didnt work, i had to redeliver and readjust everything. using the same items an set up i got back on chair an adjust an cant seem to recreate what happened. one of those strange sl hiccups. anyway els have trouble like this?
