The pack was so expensive and has too many textures, I wanted only some of the dark ones... But I wanted it because it looks so real. So I bought it.

I took inspiration from this thread to change the garden. I built the pool surround around a DO Design pool. Cheap and low Li. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/DO-Deluxe-Pool-Adult-Bento-2LI-PROMO/17039403

In the living room is a partition fireplace: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/NewBrooke-Partition-Fireplace-3li/23370319

I have edited it a lot. Brick texture from Jubran, the flames is from a Trompe Loeil house I picked apart, the rocks from a TA Arts firplace. So the Li increased a little bit.

Edit to add: I was asked where the outdoor loungers are from earlier. I can't edit in the name in that post, but they are: Loft & Aria - Daisha Lounger And Ottoman.

Honestly, one thing you could do to possibly get more conversations going inworld is fill out your profile a bit. You dont even have a pick for your inworld store.. Toss in a likes/dislikes pick, a few favorite laces, something.

I don't have an in world store.

But might try something on the picks :)

    ??

    im confuse lol

Did you really read everything that was said in the post? I said I'm trying this >new< way to meet people since starting random conversations in world hasn't been successful, after a while it becomes discouraging to start conversations with people who doesn't want to talk so I stopped doing it, not sure what was unclear...

The first step to change is actually doing something different. So kudos for taking that first step! :)

I do hope you find other like minded people to share a wonderful second life friendship experience!

Just what I thought, in my experience different is usually good.

Thank you, I hope so too :)

In fact, if you look at it, I often experience the same situation.... I've been here for a year and a half, yes it's not a long time, but I still have very few friends, they are not active either.I tried to meet a lot of new people, but their only reaction was to not respond, the interesting thing is we are here to socialize, why these reactions?but what can I say... people can be different just like colors 🙂  We are longing for warm-blooded people. sometimes I feel like a stepchild here haha 😁

I was very lucky to meet my two very good friends (now not so active) on my very first day, they helped me with everything and we sticked together after that, I keep saying if it wasn't for them I probably wouldn't even have stayed on second life, cause what the hell would I be doing alone in a world I knew nothing about?

I see a lot of people experiencing the same, really. I guess we have to be lucky to find the ones who are in the same "vibe"? Something like that.

Which is why I thought trying the forum wouldn't hurt cause surely other people would relate to that.

Meeting new people in world is not the hard part, retaining friends is another thing all together.

That's true,  and it's a hit and miss, you're at risk to start a conversation with people who has nothing in common with you, people who are not open to make new friends or whatever, that's been the deal with me meeting new people in world.

  8. Hi everyone!

SL has been quite lonely lately, my friends are barely ever online, or busy with something else or their loved ones, feels like I'm an outsider, starting random conversations out there rarely works, so here we go:

What I like: dancing, throwing house parties (and partying in general), exploring but not alone, watching movies, taking pictures, shopping, talking about everything, I have an easy sense of humor and make a lot of jokes so pass this out if you're too serious, we won't match. I'm easy to please, can do anything or nothing in good company.

Hiiit me up if you think we can have a good time/good conversations.

  9. Since I'm moving out of mainland I made this beautiful home available for sale for 3,9 per sqm, L$ 17,000.

Let me say from the beginning the price won't be dropping, first because I'm not in a rush to sell, at all, second because it's worth what it's worth, so if you like what you see, go and get it.

About it: 1477 prims capacity, 363 left with all that's built in it, which from of course you may keep whatever you like and return what doesn't work for you.

It's a very nice location, never had any kind of issues with neighbors or anything like it, I had a peaceful experience at this spot.

You should go and see for yourself, I'm available to respond any questions and/or give any kind of support, you can message measmia in-world.
