[what about buying a Macbook?]

I can't seem to find updated information regarding whether it is a good idea to use a macbook for sl purposes?  I really dislike using any microsoft laptops and since it is obvious my current one is fried, I would rather update back to a mac or apple product.  Will LL be supporting them going forward?  I prefer using fs viewer but any information will be appreciated.  Thanks
