  1. Haven't been able to figure this one out, and I'm not really up for spending money on a giant HUD system.

Is there an easy script or way for me to link up poseballs so that a couples animation will start on cue only when both avatars are sitting on their ball? It's been an unexpected hangup for me, and I don't know much about scripting in general. Thanks

  2. So I don't know what's going on here, but all of a sudden there's an overlap and gap at my ankles now. Belleza Jake body, everything seems right, I don't have the wrong feet or anything like that. Changed skins, cycled alphas on and off, reset skeleton/animation, and it's still there. Any ideas?

  3. So I'm starting to play around with the new version of the old Windlights, in Firestorm's EEP, and something I haven't come across yet is a way to save an existing environment to my collection.

As in, if I'm in a certain place whose lighting I enjoy, is there a way to save those particular settings? I know that there was in the old Firestorm.

  4. Okay, I changed some things around based on your suggestions, I'll see how it looks. I know it's not the newest system, it's just confusing to me because things were really humming just a few weeks ago. Maybe I was fiddling in the wrong direction.

Also noticed that it doesn't seem like you can turn off Transparent Water as long as you've got Advanced Lightning enabled.

  6. The font issue seems better, but the whole viewer is still slow as molasses. When I turn the Advanced Lighting Model on, textures flat-out don't load all the way, it's like it's being throttled back. FPS drops down to 3. I'm not really sure why, it was performing great before the update, and I've even tried to dial some things down since, but photography's still almost impossible now. Like the graphic card took a step back.

    Here's where I'm at

If this should end up being the only option, it is easy to replace the outfit links.  If you right click on the old version of the body item in inventory, there should be a 'replace links' option which will bring up a dialog box where you can specify the new version of the body and then you can click to have the system replace all linked instances of the old version with the new version.

May wind up doing this, it definitely seems like it's only an issue with that set of body/hands/feet, like it just went dead.

Have you tried taking the body off, deleting it, unpacking a new copy and trying again?

I hadn't yet, but I'd rather that be the last option, since it would break the links of every saved outfit and character I have.

  9. I have no idea what's going on here, but my skin and alpha suddenly seem to have locked into place. I can't change my skin tone, not with anything, not to a default. I also can't get the rest of my body back, and changing alphas on the hud doesn't turn anything on or off. Going to old outfits gives me the same thing. Taking the body on and off gives me the same thing. Log off, log in, teleport, etc.

The best results I’ve gotten with that card have been creating an entry for Firestorm in the gaming section and letting the driver auto tune performance. I have never been able to get usable performance out of it with shadows on.

It was fine before the update. FPS with shadows was in the double digits, now it drops to 3.

  11. My graphics card recently asked me to run an update on it - and I did, but ever since, quality in SL has taken a hit. Much slower FPS. When I first logged in after the update, Firestorm said that it was adjusting for the new settings, but when I've gone and moved all my sliders and options back to where they were prior to that, it goes into slowdown mode, and becomes almost unusable when shadows are turned on.

Any suggestions for some kind of change I need to make with the graphic settings and modes on the computer? It's the Radeon RX550/550 Series card. The three "Graphics Profile" options given are Gaming, eSports, and Standard, but I haven't noticed a difference.
