[Looking for Scripting Help]

I've bled out my soul trying to figure out how to do something unique with my tattoo layer on my avi and I just can't seem to craft a working script.

What I am trying to do is have my tattoo change from a blue color, to an idigo/purple hue.

If anyone is willing to help me figure this out, or have a script that does exactly that I'd be grateful.
