[Notifications are showing GMT, not Second Life Time]

As I understand it, all Second Life activities and notices are standardized to SLT, which is equivalent to Pacific Time.  However, all of my Notifications sent by the groups I belong to are displaying GMT instead.  I've attached a picture; is this something I can fix?

For the record, I live in the Pacific time zone in real life.

[No available option to post snapshots]

I'm a new user, and I saw there was a section for snapshots on peoples' profiles.  I looked through the help documentation and everything says to click the Snapshot button, then select the appropriate option (Post to My Profile Feed).  However, I simply don't have that option on my screen at all.  I can only save to my local computer.

I've attached a picture of what it looks like for me.  I'm using the default viewer on the latest release.
