  1. I recommend buying this cute Mithral Garden Display on sale this weekend at Saturday Sale for  75L each colour of the box and 250 L the fatpack of all 4 colours. Its 4 Li and I bough it in wood colour. It has a hud to change the colour of the leaves to 8 different colours and to give access to any user or just to owner. Thing is I unlinked the objects and was able to take out both of the tiny trees and enlarge them to normal human size and they are gorgeous, their little leaves move about and change colours perfectly. So you get the garden and you get two big sized trees for the same price.  TAXI: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Mithral/123/132/21

You can also tint the trunk and the leaves of the tree to suit your needs, here in this photo I tinted darker the trunk and made the leaves purple to make a dark witchy tree for my witchy house. Only thing is one tree is 3Li when I made big and the other is 8Li, which I thought was way too much since it was the same size as the other.  I might be doing something wrong since I am no builder, you guys might be able to lower that. Also, there is a sort of invisible barrier around the tree which I stamp into, I cannot walk right up to the trunk. I would appreciate if anybody knows how to correct that too.

  2. Have you guys seen already the cutest little kitchen from Moss&Mink over at Fameshed? Its called Una Kitchen and its been tested to fit inside the Linden Belli homes. Reasonably priced for a full kitchen.  Its 698L the whole thing and if you are in their group you get a 30% discount, you can get it for 489L The island table is 2Li and the rest of the kitchen (including several cabinets and the oven and fires and  is 8Li and the fridge is 6Li. And it has a super complete HUD to make any colour you can possibly need.  TAXI: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/FaMESHed/175/173/23

  3. I just came across this Ayla sink and shower from Imegica at the Blue Event and found them really impressive and I would love to know the opinion of the experts of this forum. They are just 10 Li the sink and 7Li the whole shower. More impressive still, they are only 50L each and it does have sound, animations AND objects that attach. I mean, wow, you cant really beat 17Li and 100L for your whole bathroom right? I just need them to make a toilet and I am all set. I was wondering if anybody knows where the best 'Thanksgiving Spread' is....you know...a table with all the fixings...ready to go.

It's for an event where those who are without relatives for the Holiday will gather for a party and some virtual food.

This is still on sale from last week for just 75L but run to get it because I don't know when they will take it off from MP: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Junk-Food-Holiday-Dinner-Set-Lazy-Sunday-75L-Promo/23033267

  5. MITHRAL - Plant Draped Ceiling Display for Saturday Sales for 100L each wood colour (has 4 variants) and 13Li. Its a bit pricey and high Li for what I know you guys prefer but I do like that these are very nicely textured so that you can tint them to match decor. In the picture you see how I tinted one for a more Fall/Autumn Vibe with green wood and orange leaves.  TAXI: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Mithral/125/138/21

  6. ATELIER BURGUNDY - Has some very nice sales this weekend. The Artist Loft for Saturday Sales 100L  (68 Li) and the Stone Fence for Happy Weekend 60L (1-4Li). What I most like about these are that both come with texture changing huds that range from dark colours to light. I made sure to take the pics with the huds showing. You can try them out also on the rezzed demos. TAXI: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Atelier/44/112/21

Check your inventories, I got in previous sales the Scarlet Creative Ninette Artist Loft (63Li) for 75L I think it was and I personally prefer it. I added a photo of mine so you can compare. Similar concept but that was bigger, more spacious and with better light with bigger windows on walls and ceilings. . For an Artist, this is fundamental. But hey, its SL, you can just change the Sky preferences right? Scarlet's however does not come with a texture changer hud, and we all know that its sometimes a pain to change the textures in their houses. Also, Atelier's Loft does match very nicely their Stone Fence. Or just get both as I did 😉

  7. I am a Victorian Bellisserian so this decor is just perfect for my house. Thought I would share this lovely Antique Telescope that Consigment has at Collarbor88 for only 88L each color. I don't usually go to this event since they became so expensive, so its nice to see a creator keeping the original 88L price. The small ones are 2li, the big one on display is 6li but is really huge, same as the table so don't take that into account.  TAXI: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/8 8/19/133/1097

  8. @BLACK NEST - Has Pimeys Hallway Collection (X EDITION) on sale for just 60L and it includes all you are seeing, 12Li in total - I think its a great value for your money so many objects. If you take off the plant and link everything else it goes down to only 5Li for all that decor. My only pity is that picture is Mod but you cant change the actual picture inside and leave the frame, when you try it, you lose the frame and it all becomes a plain texture.  TAXI:  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/BLACK NEST/233/133/21

  9. At Legna  this weekend they have this cute Dinah set for the kitchen on sale that is only 3Li and 66L . You get the light and darker neutral colours version on the sides. But I fiddled around with it and its really easy to change the tones to exactly what you need to match your kitchen, you can see my teal version in the middle with a darker tray. Always nice when items are modifiable that way.

  10. I got the Lifeguard Stations this weekend on sale for 50L (all 8 colours of the gacha pack) at Trompe Loeil because..well I just love their stuff and buy nearly everything they put out for their Superfans group sales and thought I could use them not only as what they were intended for, since you guys in this thread have been inspiring me lately to tweak round furniture.  I think they have them for the whole week on sale in case you are interested. I wanted to put a photo here of what I managed to do playing around with one of them and I am betting you people can do wonders since you know more builder tools than me. I am pretty proud of how this turned out 😃.

So on the right is the original 21Li teal version. On the left is my own version that is only 13Li. I was able to take off all the lifeguard symbols, the surf board, the oars and the lifesaver on the back, as well as the cabinet inside. Unfortunately they all leave behind very nasty shadows on the textures 😞 By tinting the surfaces where they were in a darker colour you can hardly distinguish them (I do have to put something decorative in the back where the lifesaver ring had a very dark shadow). I had to change completely the texture of the wood inside the house in order to get rid of the cabinet shadow since it was so visible but you can use your own texture and it looks perfect.

    image.jpeg.e2004f3e92cf9931d13486bc2d655618.jpeg1822026180_TrompeLoeilLifeGuardStation2.JPG.d7d0bce7c3ef2d23605e21ce8a435211.JPG

But I just had to keep going, I wasn't completely happy and I tweaked the colours even more. Here is my Forest Guard Station, with all browns and dark greens. The door is changed from stark white to a grey/brown. I tried putting wood texture on it but then you lose the handle and the hinges which are using the same set of textures. I am so pleased with this and plan to decorate with elven decor. I can totally imagine this as some of the outposts for elven hunters in the Shannara books of Terry Brooks.

  11. I am just loving the dark witchy furniture that is coming out this year around Halloween and I found these great sales at THOR. Magic Hallway bench is 60L and 5Li and the Poisonous Tea tray set is 66L and 10Li all together. The Serving Cart, the Tea Tray and the Decor on the lower shelf are all independent so you can use them separately and save Li. The paintings on the front of the bench are just gorgeous.

    Thor - Witchy furniture.JPG

They have a matching cabinet at Access Event although I found it way too expensive the fatpack for 1199L but the actual cabinet is only 259L so if you have plenty of witchy decor like me, you can just get the matching furniture and decor yourself.

  12. Another nice sale I grabbed today. These Cute Potions And Sex Magic Shelves at Lemme for just 75L. I got the one on the far right, purple and pink. I don't however like very much the sexual things on the shelf and I wanted also a darker version for some of my witchy furniture. You can unlink things, take off the sexual bits, and tint the wood darker. You have to take off the shadows too, otherwise it looks weird with things missing. 7 Li original and just 5Li modified.

  13. They have this cool halloween room service cart at DaD for sale this weekend for 60L but I wanted to use it for decor without the skeleton. I decided to go ahead for 60L and get it and see if I could take it off. You can. The skeleton is three bits you have to unlink and delete: upper skeleton, lower skeleton and the hat and bowtie. Then you have to remember to take off the shadow or make it completely transparent because it looks weird with the shadow of the skeleton and no skeleton. You also lose the cart shadow but I am sure you guys can make an appropriate shadow yourselves to add below the cart.

The whole thing is 18Li and without the skeleton 17li. Quite a lot but I only want it for temporal decor. Everything on the cart is individually unlinkable and you can use it for decor on mantelpieces or tables. Plenty of things to play around with.

  14. I found these Sanna bookshelves at Myrrine mainstore, walking through the sales, and I think they are just so pretty. If you like witchy stuff these will go perfect. I got the dark one. You get one colour with the books on the floor included for 50L. They are 7li each, the pile of books is 2li. Also walk around the store because they have some individual gacha items at pretty low prices that will go nicely on top of the bookshelf to decorate. I myself got the book with the crystals you can see in the second photo, its 3li and 69L.

I really hate when they pretend it's a sale.  To me a sale would be if you got all the colors for the sale price of $60 lindens.  @ $60 per color it's really 8 times that price. And to add insult to injury they throw in one more color that you can't buy unless you buy the fatpack.

ETA: and the fatpack sells at $384 so the extra color isn't even free with the fatpack.

Ohhh, I was disillusioned with this one too, I rushed there to get it because I thought it was all colours but as you said no, it doesn't feel like much of a sales to me if you are just selling one colour for 60L. Compared to Zerkalo for example its like night and day. I  bought at Zerkalo the Persepolis Rugs (adult version because it cost the same as the PG) and it was just 60L. They are very similar to the Pitaya Morocco Dreams pillows offered but these last dont have any changing hud. Zerkalo offers a great hud with lots of options in everything they put on sale. I like having that choice. And when they put out sets, the whole set is 60L and not just each bit and piece. Pitaya seems less and less worth your buck. I think they had better sales at the beginning.

I believe it was mentioned in the thread but don't forget to go to Zerkalo for the free credit of the opening of their sim, you can use that credit to get the sale products too! Which is fabulous, love that store because not many allow this. Also, search for Aberdeen sofa and the Aberdeen Pillows there, there are not supposed to be on sale but they are still at 60L in the displays. I bought those two, both the sales Persepolis Rugs and the Montserrat bed and still had money left over from the credit.

  16. Hi, just wanted to say thanks everyone for all the tips to sales I keep reading week after week and wanted to add my little grain of sand. I just bought from Broken Arrow , this lovely chair (the one on the right), just 3L. I thought it came with hud for the colour of the chair but it does not, only in fatpacks. Fortunately even though it says its no modify, it is in fact, you can select individual pieces of the chair and change the colour in the Texture Tab to recolour them. I was able to make a green version with a bright pink towel and a green version with purple towel. If you want more pastel colours I would suggest getting the white chair with cream colored towel.

  17. I have had the exact same problem. My house went pufff and dissapeared completly. The mailbox does nto work and gives the message: buttons; <--(1) or (1)-->.

I have sent a ticket and I am waiting patiently for someone to come over and fix it for me. 🙂 Sigh, my furniture looks weird levitating in the air like that.
