[Intel ARC GPU's vs SL?]

I was wondering if anyone tried testing out Second Life on the new ARC dedicated gpu's.

Genuinely curious to see if it preforms somewhat decently.

Hello!

I mentioned a UV printer in local chat once.

Never looked up anything regarding said topic anywhere else but a few lines in Second Life.

Suddenly i'm getting a ton of ads on other platforms about UV printers.

Does LL use local chat for advertising spying? 

 

My exact words were "Man, i should've gotten a UV 3d printer...Heard they were better than feed type."

 No links, no google searches no nothing. Just that single line in a local chat in Second Life

[Random Disconnects]

Sorry to bump this old thread, but i sadly have the same issue for nearly a month now.

At random moments every 10 or 30 minutes i'll get the following symptoms:

-avatar stops moving

-text chat no longer works

-UDP traffic drops to 0

-after a few minutes of the above, i'll get 1000ms ping and disconnect error.

 

ISP: Telenet N.V. Belgium

Pc's NIC: Realtek 2.5GBE (latest firmware 10.50.511.2021)

 

Is there no way of monitoring the connection to SL? So i can figure out where it starts going wrong?

So out of curiosity, i was looking at the first version of secondlife.com.

 

It claims of "lindenworld", was this the name of the grid before it became known as agni?

We are perfectly aware how IP banning works, and static vs dynamic IP banning. That is not what i started this topic about.

I'm not certain what prompted you the need to "once again" explain how IP banning works.

 

I'm interested in official documentation of LL adding this to the region banning system.

If i were to recommend one, it would be Caspertech, super stable system, not much configuration required and free support!

 

Hippo's system works, but they charge for support and for updates. So we got rid of them quickly

Howdy!

 

I notice that when i ban a person from my region, none of his alts acces my sim anymore. 

 

His banned account gets "you have been banned from this region"

and his alts get "you do not have access to this region" Which he can bypass if he is on a different computer.

 

Is it possible LL made some new banning method in the region bans? Does anyone have more information about this?
