Hi there,
im confronting a problem that I tried to fix on my own for too long.
I want to have a blanket or towel hanging from an object. What I did:
I have created a "plane" and set it as ncloth object. After also having set up the faces that should stay "pinned" in the air for letting the towl hang I started the timeslider and stopped at the frame of the desired result. Now I want to have this result as an static mesh.
What I did then was duplicating the mesh with the "stopped" animation at frame x. Then I freezed the transforms, reset them and deleted the history of the mesh. Now when I export it as dae_fbx.. and import it to SL I am seeing the plane in its initial state.
What workstep did I miss?

Yes, thats a step forward to workaround and get the result. Thank you! I would still appreciate the information to get this done without exporting and importing and exporting again.
