[why my internet speed goes down if i start sl?]

my internet speed goes comnpletely down whenever i start my secondlife and amnot able to login into sl grid, but i am able to login into sl beta grid and other grids too.

 

if i login in sl beta grid, then some of the inventory items are missing and also it shows wrong L$ account balance.
