I am having the same problem, but only on this account, my other account logs in fine. So this is not caused by network or firewall issues. It's specially annoying because I'd just bought a chunk of L$. I started having problems in world, not able to rezz objects or wear clothes then when I tried to re-log to clear whatever the problem was I got this same unhelpful message. I've been trying to raise a support ticket for it, but there is no category that fits for viewer log in issues. I suppose I could try going premium just to log a support ticket but I dont like that idea.
