Thanks Dillion! I don't think I will have the time to learn animations either. I am not inworld much because my schedule is hectic right now. Maybe Christmas break I will have more time. I am loving SL so far. It amazes me how much there is to do. It is very overwhelming at first but I think I am making progress.

Wow you just blew me away. I am sorry for being a complete idiot when it comes to this. The pose ball worked for my dance partner and he suggested that I download Phoenix. I don't know anything about TPV's (go me for reading and learning that acronym) but with the pose ball working for him and not me has me confused. I was trying to power on and off the AO HUD and I could never get anything to work. Needless to say I spent 2 hours trying inworld to dance.

I have noticed that the marketplace sells animations. Is it possible to just buy animations and do away completely with pose balls? Does it matter which viewer I am using? Is the Phoenix better than the original?

Ok thanks for the help. I think I do have an ao but i tried to turn it off and never could. I even went into my inventory and detached it and it still didn't help.

Last night I right clicked on a pose ball and I clicked sit. I didn't have any options that said dance. So I just sat in mid air and there were no animations. I am not sure if this is the right place to post this. A few people I was with suggested that I download Phoenix viewer.

I am only a couple of weeks into SL and I am in need of some friends. I am not inworld often because I am a college student and don't have the time. I am on mostly on the weekends and some during week nights. I would love to make some friends that can introduce me to the SL world.

I'm a noob and was just curious where I could find the athletic guys. Is there a sports theme or anything like that in SL? I have only been on SL for a couple of days and all of that was dedicated to my avatar. I am ready to explore now. Hoping to find my Tom Brady!

Thank you Melita! It is very confusing take starting out in SL. I learned a lot yesterday and I still have trouble changing clothes but I am getting better at it.
