  1. - I can be a host, as long as the person I am working for is okay with me being a little quieter than most. Though, I am perfectly nice, and I can be very welcoming if I am picked for this type of job.

    - Not neccessarily unreliable. I can be here when I am needed. What I was saying is, I don't want to be here 24/7. I do have a life outside of secondlife.

    - I can be a dancer, just not a dancer who is required to take all of their clothes off. I am willing to show a little skin.

This is my first time doing anything like this here in secondlife. Yes, I am inexperienced, but I learn very fast. With a little training, I'm sure I could do any of these jobs. If anyone is willing to be patient with me, that is. I can very likely make my schedule work with whatever job may be offered to me.

I hope this clears some things up a little. I know this is far from perfect, but just bear with me? I'm still learning.

  2. So, I am looking for a job here on SL.

    - I am quite quiet and shy, so a job where I have to talk and interact with a bunch of people obviously wouldn't work for me.

    - I don't want a job that requires me to be online 24/7. I'm here quite often, but not all day everyday.

    - I just want a job that pays enough, so that I won't go broke!

    - I am willing to show a little skin, but I won't go completely nude!

I guess that's all? If you have any more questions, just message me/send a notecard(?) or reply here.

  3. I don't know if this belongs here. I hope it does.

Anyway, I was banned from a certain location, and I honestly have no idea why. I was lagging really badly, so I decided to leave and come back, but when I came back it was telling me that I was banned and it wouldn't let me in. I am 100% sure I wasn't doing anything wrong. The whole time I was there, all I was doing was walking around and doing what everyone else was doing? Is there a way I can get myself unbanned, since I know I was banned for no reason?

  4. I can barely even move, most of the time :/

I've tried so many things to try to improve performance, but nothing has really helped. It doesn't matter if my graphics settings are on low or high, the FPS are still always below 5.

I know my graphics card is a little outdated, but  should the performance really be this bad?

    CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) X2 Dual-Core QL-65 (2094.78 MHz)
    Memory: 3839 MB
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit  (Build 7600)
Graphics Card Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc.
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 3100 Graphics

I'm also using a laptop, so that might be part of the problem too? It's a Toshiba, and it's about 3 or 4 years old.

Are there any other ways I can improve the performance without replacing the graphics card, or would that be impossible? Would I even be able to replace the graphics card on a laptop?

  5. Thanks for helping, everyone!

From what I read here, It would seem that I am unable to replace my graphics card? Since, yes, I do use a laptop, and I am unable to upgrade to a desktop any time soon.

Does it depend on what kind of laptop you have? Are there some that have replaceable cards?

Graphics Card Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc.
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 3100 Graphics

    Windows Graphics Driver Version: 8.14.0010.0678
    OpenGL Version: 3.1.8794 BETA

I'm honestly not very good with things like this.

Is my computer capable of running Secondlife smoothly, and without lag? If not, what can I do to reduce the lag? I've already tried all the obvious things, like lowering the graphic settings, draw distance, particles, etc. Is there anything else I can do?
