[Game inspired banners]

I was thinking of making a shop that would sell various game inspired banners, and other stuff, but I`m not sure that I can even do that. Is that copyright infringement?? Would I be allowed to do something like that?? To take a picture from a game, or film and make a banner, poster or something else??
