[Login screen center all white]

yep my login screen central space appears all white, both SL  and FS  in this PC. When I use another pc they are ok. I also try with my Bitdefender antivirus disconected in this pc but it didn't solve the problem. So it all seems that it is some app , extention ot program I have  in this pc that causes it. Some Ideia what can be please? Thank you.

I DID IT )))) and it worked !

I got the instrutions for windows 8 to change to Google DNS in here

and it worked great. Problem of gray  avatars is solved. Thank you for all the help you and others gave me

Oh now I have this big problem called Windows 8 !

Everything is diferent from what is written at  this web page example for Windows 7: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using 

I am confused and desperate, so  any help will be very appreciated !

If so I will try it too then. I have a router but I think I can do it only on the pc I use to run SL...?

I have the exact same problem you has Beatrix. I didi a Bug report to Linden and they answer me and I am trying to follow their instrutions. They say ot is hapening to many ppl since a week ago from France an dPortugal from some ISP providers. Tehy are working on it now. Let's keep our hope !

Sometimes when I  try to log in I get this  message"Login failed. DNS could not resolve the host name. Please verify that you can connect to the www.secondlife.com web site" Witch I always can and continue to receive the same error. 

Can u help me pls?
